Buddi Martin

November 22, 1999 – June 4, 2013

John and Linda Martin were surprised by the gift their daughter, Gidget, and grandson, Brad, gave them on Christmas Eve, 1999.  When Buddi came to live with them he was small, but each day they could see him growing.  John and Linda were told that he would only weigh about 35 pounds, however, when they took him to the vet, he laughed and said “add another 100”.  Buddi was an American Bulldog born in Monroe, North Carolina on November 22, 1999.  He had special markings of white and rust color with a white ghost on his left hip.

Berkeley Hurst

In 2003 on an October day a little dog had lost his way.

Ann and Matthew turned around and picked him up and Love was all around.

Open the door you would see a wagging tail, we knew his Love would never fail.

Berkeley is gone now and I write this with a heavy heart.  Our Love for Berkeley will always prevail and one day again we will see that wagging tail.

We love you Berkeley,

Steve, Ann, Matthew and Amanda Hurst

Briarpatch Halo

September 20, 1997 – May 10, 2013

Halo was born September 20, 1997, in Millers, MD at the Briarpatch Kennel owned by Jack and Terri Batzer.  At 8 weeks of age she moved into her forever home with Lisa Drinkwater and the Pine Hill Terriers.   Halo loved to hunt; and hunting she did, from groundhogs, red foxes, raccoons and more.  When she first started to hunt she would wait at the entrance to a den “on point” until Lisa arrived and told her it was ok to enter.  Of course, that didn’t last long.
